What is it with girls??

Why, do girls always even if they say they look at personality but they always go by our(guys) looks,and when it is personality what ever happened to helping someone fix a problem not avoiding them because of their problem

Hmmm . . . well, here's the deal. Everyone has their own range of physical attractiveness that they seek from someone they're going to date. EVERYONE, not just men or women. Even YOU have your standards . . . you just don't think about them. If you fall outside of the range a girl is interested in, you will not have a chance with her. Now, about personality. Some personality problems are difficult or impossible to fix and very unattractive also. Usually people don't like other people trying to change them. That's why girls won't tell you anything in the way of advice unless you ask them, and even then you might not get a straight answer. Good night!

Girls look at looks first, but they want to know the person more and see if their personality is worth their time.
Girls do try helping you guys fix your problems, but if they don't care about you, or get insulted by you, they'll just avoid you.

Oh, for....give it a rest! No, we don't all have this problem. I, for one, DO like a guy for his personality, not his looks. Or else I would've lost interest after he went and shaved his head (I did like his hair. It disappointed me that he did that). And as for fixing people's problems, it's not that easy. If he's a continual liar, why should we let ourselves be hurt by constantly trusting him? I can understand letting it go if it's not a big thing, or if it's once or twice, but we're not that stupid no matter what you think. Don't label everyone into the same category.

Looks matter w/ everyone, if only a tiny bit. it's the first thing you see and encounter. You have to be able to STAND looking at who you love, if only a miniscule amount.
and most of the time a girl tries to help a guy fix a personality problem, guys get overly defensive and think girls are trying to CHANGE them.

looks do matter, to a degree, but since things like bone structure or natural body type can't be controlled try working on the things you can. A problem lots of guys have is with the whole hygiene thing, brushing your teeth, brushing hair and wearing decent clothes can help you out alot.
There are girls who do date guys who are not attractive, just try to be put together, it will help girls let themselves get to know you and find a reason to go out with you.

Us girls, yes we do look for looks in guys but we also look for personality, we dont want some next hot looking guy with a bad attitude, I would rather have a guy that is hot and that has a good personality. And you guys also look for looks in girls, so dont just be blaming us :p

Two things you need to know.
1. Woman say they care about personality, so they don't seem like shallow people. (We are all shallow)
2. Confidence is more important than looks. A very self confident ugly guy will have more women attracted to him than a very handsome man that is insecure.

we all like a pretty face and body sometimes, but when it really comes down to it that is not what matters.
sometimes it is hard to help someone fix a problem, you have to want to have it fixed just as bad.
