It's not love, but it's not lust, defidently infatuation, I'm going through the same thing with a guy and it's the first time it's ever happened, and I really like the guy so I'm pretty sure it's a little deeper than lust, however I'm not in love with him... I'm sure it's probably the same for you, remember that dreaming is your unconscious mind thinking, so if they're thinking about this girl, then there's a real good chance that you really like her.

Sounds like lust. Love involves so much more than just thinking about or dreaming about someone.

It depends on what your thinking about when they're on your mind, is it purely sexual thoughts or you being with them in a relationship? What your describing, constant thoughts of the other person, seems to me like love. Lust would be more like, whenever you're thinking about them, it's sex based thoughts.

Probably a mix of both. I definitely dream about Johnny Depp, but I don't love him. On the other hand, there's a guy I really like, but I don't dream about him as much. I think you really have feelings for this person, so maybe you should act on it sometime (in person, not in your dream).

The simple, likely unsatisfying answer, is that when it is love, you won't have to question it - you'll just know.
I was told this as a teenager, and it only annoyed me! But now nearing 30, I can see how wise the statement really is. I only wish I'd paid more mind to it in my early relationships!
Cheers :)

Experience counts! For example people kneel at the feet of JESSICA LYNCH and tell her that she is pretty. How can this be gainded from a textbook? A textbook is merely a simulation of reality. Jessica Lynch should be made leader of the world. She has very pretty feet!

It is lust/infatuation...it takes time fro feelings of love to grow

2007-05-30 22:48:05 · answer #8 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

it is lust
because if you keep dreaming about that person you are probably trying to find a sense of intimacy that you do not really find in your real life. but if sometimes it can be love if you are not constantly putting that person on a pedestal. if you can go on and function normally, its alright!
