Most questions about 'god' are hypothetical. There is nothing hypothetical about God.

Hypothetical... I would say maybe for some people, but I pretty much accept God as a reality so for me no , however, I do think these questions are fairly pointless. Humans can not adequately even come close to explaining the nature of God, we do the best we can with what God gave us, however we simply are not meant to totally understand him in this life. So anyone who gives an answer as to God's true intentions or nature is giving an educated guess but never a definitive answer.
