I don't care since I don't believe in any gods. I don't need anyone's approval.

According to the revelation, there is only one God.
Obviously, atheist wedding ceremonies have no mention of God.
How do you expect to approve or disapprove someone who believes you don't exist.
If you search the pages, you will find non believers are allow to marry believers. In fact, if the non believer is satisfied, then the believer would be encourage to remain in the marriage.
Christianity has no requirements for non Christians, marriage or otherwise. Christians are instructed to teach.

Your question makes no sense. If you are a Christian, then you believe there is only one god -- there are no Hindu gods, there is no Allah (unless he is the same guy), there are no old gods of the Romans, the Greeks, the Norsemen, the Zoroastrians, etc. Atheists believe in zero gods out of the thousands that have been dreamed up; Christians believe in one of them. Atheists don't care what a mythical being thinks of their marriages.

I didn't know atheists got married. I thought that was religous you must be refering to a civil union which would be done for tax purposes. other than that gods approval doesn't matter much to someone who doesn't believe that any god exists. hey at least you got it right to put a distinction on which god you where refering to which means you believe in something a higher power of some sort so if your the atheist your refering to your not a very good one

Guys, guys, a marriage without Christ is simply fornication. The only true marriage is one with Christ as the anchor. How could God recognize anything not His own? He only recognizes and helps His own children in Christ. He will help someone seeking find Him however.
If God says clearly, "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers." why would he say its okay for two unbelievers to wed? He wouldn't. Which leads me to the question, Why would an atheist care if God approves of his marriage?
Weird.

It would be better for two atheists to marry than a Christian and an atheist. God tells us to not be unequally yoked to an unbeliever in marriage.

--MARRIAGE is marriage, there are indeed good families that have the oddest of couples in the union.
--Marriage is not necessarily a religious experience, it is a family & moral experience! Whether one wishes for God to be in the experience is a matter of free-will!

Yes. God instituted marriage as a beneficial arrangement for all. Most men need their own woman and most women need their own man.
P.S. With all due respect, Lazarus, you are wrong.
