First off you need to cut out most fats, oils and sugars from your diet... and also most starchy carbs. Try to do ANY form of exercise each day (whether its walking for 30 min., biking, blading, ANYTHING). At first you might not see results but after a week of healthy eating, and exercise you will see results!

First, get a doctor's okay before starting any diet.
Lose the weight slowly. People who lose weight slowly are more successful at keeping it off. your body needs to adjust.
Exercise. Walking, riding a bike, swimming etc. will naturally burn more calories and fat.
If you fall off your diet, don't get discouraged. Climb back on it and keep that promise you made to yourself.
Don't weigh yourself too often. Stand on a scale once a week...even longer if you can.
I hope this helps you.I've lost 30 lbs so far!

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Run! Jump up and down. Do anything that makes you sweat, drink tons of water, and eat lots of fruits. Weigh yourself everyday. If you've just eaten what you know is enough and you're still hungry run your appetite off. Good luck :)

Self-amputation.

Seriously, though--you don't need to lose 15 pounds. Trust me.

Portion control and exercise will help. I would stay away from diet pills and fad diets.
