It is an excellent idea! I did it all the time in college. Just make sure the hot dogs are thawed. If frozen, they will just burn and still be frozen in the middle. It only takes about 2-3 minutes for it to heat through and get the nice grill marks. Have fun "grilling".

I guess if its cold outside and you want to use your indoor grill, its ok.

I do it all the time... it is a great idea for hot dogs, burgers, chix breast, fish I use it for everything, even making killer press sandwiches and quesadillas

no use a charcoal grill its better tasting
