sure do believe in the rapture, its all in the book of Revalation,
but i also believe we have ALOT of work to do prior to that... after all, Jesus is not coming back till every single place on the earth hears the gospel, there are still hundreds of unreached ones. cmon missionarys!
My job until then, is being His hands and feet until He does come.

Jesus is coming back, but he's only coming back once, at the end of the ages, at the last trumpet. Those believers who are dead will rise first and then we which remain will rise to meet him in the air, when he gathers his people from the four corners of the earth. Then comes the judgment and the earth will be destroyed as it says in 2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
We are in the tribulation now. The bible says that we must through much tribulation enter the kingdom of God. Jesus set up his kingdom when he sent the Holy Spirit and all the prophecies about the kingdom of God pertain to his earthly ministry, from the time he was baptized until the end.
So, there is no second chance to repent after the Christians disappear. There won't be any disappearance but every eye will see the Lord when he comes in glory.

The fact that there is strife within and among the churches MAY be one of the signs of the end times. Some believe that the Church Age ended years ago, so no believer should be attending a church, since the church would be under Satan's power, including the "pastor" of the church.
The folks at Family Radio believe the Church Age has ended and that the Final Judgment and Second Coming of Christ will be in the fall of 2011.
Family Radio supporters believe the Final Judgment and Second Coming of Christ will be in the fall of 2011.
For example see the book “Time Has an End” on line at:
http://www.timehasanend.org/public/en_time_has_an_end_cont.html
This group, whose primary teacher is one Harold Camping, also believes the Church Age has ended in 1988 and believers are to come out of the churches as they are now under the control of malevolent forces now that the Tribulation has begun. According to this group, this is why there is so much strife between and within church groups. Mr. Camping’s interpretations of the bible are highly allegorical, so let the reader beware.
See the book Time Has an End, Ch. 10:
http://www.timehasanend.org/public/en_time_has_an_end_ch10.html
That said, the online audio lectures at Family Radio, are illuminating and worth a listen:
See: http://worldwide.familyradio.org/zusa/english/connect/audio_archive/echoes/frame/download/download.html
Finally, for the offline version of the Family Radio nightly call in show, where folks ask questions about the bible to Mr. Camping, see:
http://worldwide.familyradio.org/zusa/english/connect/audio_archive/forum/frame/
I am not endorsing Family Radio’s doctrines, but one is able to learn quite a bit by listening to these materials. Just be careful you don’t swallow everything you hear in this call in show.
Most of what you will read about the end times are pre-millennial views: the view that Christ's return will usher in a future millennium of Messianic rule mentioned in the book of Revelation before the final judgment. The believers of this doctrine also hold to the notion of a Rapture of the righteous beforehand.
Then there are mixtures involving the views of the seven year tribulation and whether it is happening now, occurs later, etc.
1. Amillennialists believe that God's promises regarding the end times are figurative and will not be literally fulfilled, particularly the 1000 year reign of Jesus Christ on the earth.
2. Pre-millennialists believe that Jesus Christ will return to the earth prior to His literal reign on the earth for 1000 years. Three groups of pre-millennialists include the following:
3. Post-tribulationists believe that the rapture will not occur until the end of the seven year tribulation, just prior to the beginning of the millennial kingdom.
4. Mid-tribulationists believe that the rapture will occur three and one half years into the tribulation, at beginning of the three and one half year great tribulation.
5. Pre-tribulationists believe that the rapture will occur prior to the seven year tribulation, but not necessarily immediately before the tribulation.
These doctrines all fall under the general heading known as the study of end times, or eschatology.
For explanations of the various eschatological beliefs see: http://www.religioustolerance.org/millenni.htm

I will have to agree with you on this one. Those of us who know to be watching and looking up toward the eastern sky can see the signs of the times clearly all around us. I DO NOT want to be here when the seals start breaking and trumpet start blowing. We are not appointed to his wrath!! Do you know what is sad the ones who won't or are bent on not repenting still wont during the tribulation..
Rev 9:20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
Rev 16:9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
Rev 16:11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

I believe in the rapture and am not afraid to admit it. But I don't know if you're going about witnessing the right way. You are a little rude and pushy. No one will listen to you if you go about it in this way. When the rapture does happen the people left probably will be happy to get rid of the bible pushers that say those types of things to just anyone. Make people want the peace of mind that you have, don't mock them for not having it. Lead by example, your question is more of a statement, not a question. You give christians a bad name. Please think about all of those that you are turning away from Christ.

Paul says in Timothy that we will hear the angel blow the trumpet and in a moment in the twinkling of an eye we will be with God in heaven. Jesus also said in Matthew that there will be two people in a field one will be taken and one left behind the same about two women in the kitchen. Finally in Revelation before the tribulation starts John says I head the angel say come up hither and it sounded like a trumpet and in a moment I was in heaven. sounds a lot like what Paul said doesn't it and Jesus preached it so I Believe it.

"I want to be on the first load out of here", like the Wed. night bible teacher says at the church. I believe with all my heart and soul that it is near. I know that I heard it all my life that the Lord is coming back but you know there is a different feeling in the air like something is fixing to happen. There is a urgency in the land for people to get right with God before it is too late. God bless you for your question. Have a blessed night.

If you believe so much, what are you doing to prepare? Donating your stuff to charity?
The rapture is just an escape fantasy for people who can't stand things not going their way.
