I like this guy james and he broke up with his girl of three years. and he came up to me the other day and he said he doesnt think we should do anything physical. and then i text him and told him that i wanted him. and he called me back and said i dont have any problem having s** with you. but i cant make a commitment because i dont want you to get hurt and cry and he said he doesnt think he could handle that. why did he all of a sudden change his mind

Don't do it.. sounds to me like he is no state to have any type of romantic relationship right now. If he TRULY cares for you, then he will be fine with waiting and giving his heart time to heal. If he pitches a fit, then hes just in it for the booty. If thats the case, then run like hell cuz those boys are no good to have around

He obviuosly cares about you in some way cause he does not want to hurt you. Do not make a mistake and have sex with him because he is pretty much telling you that, "Hey i just got out of a relationship and I do not want to get in other one right now" Just keep it platonic and when he is ready he will let you know.

because the truth of the matter is he wouldn't mind be intimate with you however he has experience in being able to associate sex with women wanting to be lovers if they do have sex. he's not ready for another relationship cause he just got out of one, but you just want sex with him, he's cool with it.

hes not attracted to in that way, most likely he needs a shoulder to cry on, and he will be needy, do you really want to have someone attached to you that has these issues, it will most likely end with you crying.
