Why can't I change?

Question

I can't explain but it seems i can't change.
I've lost hope with nothing to gain.
The pain hurts so deep that I can't abstain from feeling that I have brought on the rain.
The sun won't shine where I live and love won't grow if you don't give.
I try to place blame because of what I did.
Forgiveness is divine but the err weighs.
It's so hard to be human i want better days.

I've broken a heart I am such a fool.
I know that things will never be cool.
All i have are yesterday's to carry to tomorrow .
I hope it out weighs my grief and sorrow:(

Didn't realize i would get so many negative comments. My significant other hates me right now and I just wrote this off the top of my head just to get it off my chest.

There can be no blame, because it takes two to tango. Remember the big fish in the sea always bite during a rain storm, if you get my drift go out there and fish.

If you change, you will hate yourself.

You have everything to gain,
When the sun comes after the rain.
You are forgiven, you need to move on unbidden.
Life hurts,
But remember it goes in spurts.

The pain is unbearable, now, but give it time for time heals all wounds, especially wounds of the heart.

It took me four and a half years for the pain to subside and for me to be able to move on with my life. To be completely honest, I am unmarried but I have the love of a good man. We don't even live together but, I know he's there if I need him. My friend and I went on vacation, my boyfriend called me all the time and that made me feel special, my friends husband didn't even call her once.
That 4.5 years were the worst of my life, but after I remembered who I was, my pain and grief subsided, I found my current boyfriend. We have been together for 7 years.

Time, give it, time. It's funny, but time has a way of making us forget what really hurt us in the first place.

Just remember that there is someone out there waiting for you. You won't find them until after you stop placing blame.

abstract...by the other answers,,,I can see you are getting eaten alive....

but if you wanted positive feedback...you would've posted this in poetry...but frankly...the words are too general and some of the metaphors you are using are too vague.

although I can see your problem...I have thought it to be nearly impossible to change my ways...but I could and I did...and so can you.

whoever heart you have broken...only you can mend it back in place...so do the right thing.

Wow. If you are really feeling this deep down in your soul, it sounds to me as if change is in the works.

try to find some interesting, then spend a lot of time on doing it, you can find something nice with you life

If by change you mean improve the quality of your poetry, I support that. For change all you need is enough motivation.

god give me a break. get over yourself and get a life. everyone can change and if you cant find the strength pray and take a break from whats weighing on you.
