There is no relationship between the ingestion of carbohydrates and the levels of adrenaline inthe central nervous system (brain, central nuclei, cerebellum spinal cord etc..)....
The normal intake of carbohydrates, just keeps our energy up to level, and the excess is stored as fat...
There is though, a substance that is stored in the LIVER, called gycogen, in amounts of 35-40 grams in an average adult, that is liberated to the blood stream as "fuel" in case of a heavy stress situation, or starvation....
THis liberation of "animal starch" bu the liver, is mediated by adrenaline, that starts a process called glycogenolysis, however, this is a LIVER stored carbohydrate......
NO effects on the brain though...

I have a cns problam(MVA).The ingestion of carbs does create energy and with it a certain amount of sugars makes my adrenaline go up.calories.
