The Army has the Army veterinary Corp - my mom was the first woman commitioned in it back in the 70's - she worked inresearch out at Walter Reed in DC. You can be a vet or a tech - as a tech I am pretty sure they will train you, not sure about the vet part - my mom had her DVM before joining (that is why she was an officer). The military also has vet offices on bases so you can work in an on base clinic as a tech - not just research - they take care of the soldiers animals. There are also dog handlers that work drug, bomb, search dogs as well. Talk to a recruiter from the Army, but also talk to all branches. I also do know that another big job of the vet corp is meat inspection since the military has their own beef.

the Army is the only branch with Veternarians(officers) and Vet assistants (enlisted).

Every Branch has a K-9 security force.

Navy also has a Marine Mammal program.. working with dolphins and seals in force protection..training them to seek out underwater hazards such as unathorized people near the vessels and locating mines.

All branches have Military Police with canines.
If I remember right, the Army has Veterinarians and their assistants but I am not sure if the Air Farce or Marines do. The Navy does not so far as I know.
The Navy has some experimental stuff with dolphins.

This accurate type of information is unavailable on Yahoo Answers.

You must visit with, or telephone your hometown military Recruiters for the very latest information. (A visit is best when getting your information.)

Right now, start making a list of all the questions you can think of. When the time comes, take your list of questions with you to the hometown military Recruiter and "pick their brain" to ensure all your questions are answered.

Also ask what types of high school courses you would also need to graduate high school, which would be to your advantage for your potential future job, when enlisting in the military.
