Probably not. I'm assuming that the theaters of operation would be the same size? Hitler made a lot of strategic errors, the biggest of which was his invasion of the USSR to late in the year (same mistake Napolean made). The Axis was spread very thin, we controlled the sea lines of communication and had way more oil and steel. More ships would not have helped them control the sea, since they had a very limited number of ports. And you have to remember, that Italy had a very strong navy at the start of the war, but they were bottled up in the Med. Geography and logistics play a big role in war. Oh yeah, and we had nukes before Hitler would have, dumb move scaring all the nuclear physicists away.

If Axis had as many numbers of men, tanks, planes and ships. . . . (here insert the words AS America, England, France etc..etc.. so your question makes sense). . . . would they have won ww2?

NO, there were three keys to sucessfully winning WWII, first the people of the conquered countries had to be in favor of the people who over ran their country (eg the underground). They need sufficient supply sources to provide for the needs of the military (more than beans bullets and fuel, but morale as well) thirdly the citizen shoulder of the US were highly flexable in their attitude and approach in combat and could exploit advantages that a regimented force like the German army of the time could not.

ya, and if wishes were fishes, we'd all cast nets, too.

part of statesmanship and governing is to only pick fights you can win. Arguably, Germany violated that when Hitler attacked Russia (a much bigger country).

Japan, of course, violated that when she attacked the United States.

doubt it, they still would have lost because their commander is hitler, and he wasn't the brightest bulb in the batch. As soon as the axis lost in russia, and the allies took the beaches, it wouldn't have maddered. also even if the war had gone on longer, the americans would have eventually dropped an a-bomb on berlin.
