This is a vague question. It depends on how long you're taking it, what you're taking it for etc. If you're taking it just for fun I'd recommend against it. If you're taking it for real pain relief then it's still well within the dosage limits of a prescription regimen. DO NOT take that much without a doctor's prescription.

Stomach upset and general side effects may or may not be present. Depending on how long you take it you may see more serious side effects. But side effects really vary person to person.

Also, there is no addiction potential so that won't happen. Liver damage more often occurs with tylenol. Stomach bleed would probably be the most likely severe side effect.

The max recommended dosage on the bottle (I just checked) is 1,200 mg/day. Sometimes doctors will prescribe more, for a limited period of time, for an acute inflammation, like tennis elbow, but that's more like a couple of weeks, not a couple of months. Side effects have mostly been mentioned: liver toxicity, GI bleeding, and also generalized bleeding, like if she were to cut herself, or need surgery, it would take longer to stop bleeding. Unless she's under close medical supervision, and even then, this is a high dose and docs don't know everything (I had an orthopedic resident at the hospital I work in prescribe me an unhealthy dose for tennis elbow), so she needs to exercise some precautions, and maybe more closely question whoever prescribed the dose. If she's taking it on her own, she needs to stop/drastically reduce!

As a healthcare provider I can tell you that the most immediate possible bad side effect would be gastric bleeding. The bigger question is: Why are you taking so much?

For starters, you would get addicted to the pain killers, and over the span of years with the addiction, you will inevitably cause liver and kidney poison, to the effect that you could get bowel cancer - in the least.

Aside from possibly feeling sick you could cause bleeding in your stomach.
Ibuprofen can also cause headaches.
I doubt it would be fatal to someone but you definitely wouldn't be feeling so great--there isn't a "high" from taking that many.
