He does feed the poor. We, His servants on earth are His hands and feet! There are a lot of people doing a lot of things for poor, hungry people. Look at all the food shelves, soup kitchens, and relief agencies that are run by caring Christians. That is how God cares for the poor.

Solomon tried to feed the world, with no success.
Solomon was the wealthiest person on the planet at that time.
He found all mans wealth inadequate to feed the world.
Solomon then sought Gods help, and God supplied one atom of his treasury and fed the entire world for years, shortly after earth had been through a planetary drought. This is where Solomon found his true wealth, it was in his faith. It's through mans faith that hunger and starvation can be avoided.

Because it's not God's job. He created us with enough I.Q. to be able to help those in need and to solve problems. So you should be asking why we aren't feeding the poor.
We can spend millions of dollars creating blockbuster movies, or sending billions of dollars over to Israel, but we can't spare any government funds to help the poor and needy.

because it is our job. We are His hands and feet. And plus, all ppl need to do is ask. but if you kick God out of a place, He is a gentleman, and leaves. He does not force Himself on people.
and since it is the peoples job, that answers ur question quite easily. people arent what you call willing to give.
