i feel really weak and shaky, and my mouth gets really dry. also i get really hungry which is odd because ADHD meds are known to do the opposite...and i feel really heavy, like my muscles are working over time, and my mind tends to go blank, making it even harder for me to work...any thots?

I was prescribed Concerta for help with concentration in middle school and suffered similar side effects. The medicine also made me zone out a lot, which is odd because it's supposed to help you focus. Talk to your doctor about the side effects you are experiencing and see if you can switch to a smaller dosage or a different medication entirely.

Go see your doctor right away, you shouldnt be having so many side affects. Concerta might not be the right medicine for you.

yea im takin 72mg of concerta and have been 4 about 3 years it works best with me over other meds like ritalin and adderal. you should talk to your doctor and tell him what you are experiancing and ask him about switching to something like Ritalin XR or Adderal XR and see if they work better with you
