how do i make a regular 4.7 DvD-R or DVD+4 fit 8 movies? or more like compressing movies to fit on that DVD?

coz some can make 8 in 1 others make it 12 in 1, how can i do that?

You can recode the original movies to mpeg 4. With mpeg 4, you can shrink the movie to 1/10th the original size while preserving most of the video quality. DivX or Nero Recode are some options. However, most standalone DVD players do not support this format. And, if you watch it on your computer, you need to use a media player which supports mpeg4, which there are many free one available.
