Ok here are a few tips.
1) Get a good facial wash. St. Ives Apricot scrub is amazing. It leaves skin so soft, but only get the regular scrubs not the one for oily/acne. It will dry your skin out.
2)Get a toner. At Sally's Beauty Supply they have one that is made from Witchazel. It's amazing. It makes your skin feel so clean.
3)Get a good oil free moisturizer. Clean and Clear have good ones. You are going to need keep your skin moisturized.
4)Get an on-the-spot acne treatment. Again Clean and Clear have some great ones. Only put it on lightly. A think layer isn't going to make them go away faster, it'll just dry out your face.
5)Drink lots of water. This will help flush impurities from your body and will actually help your skin balance itself out and have a "glow" to it.
6) Don't touch your face a lot, keep your phone off your chin and be careful of letting your hair stay on your face. All these are major causes of pimple causing bacteria.

I really hope this helps you. Best wishes and luck.

1. Don't ever pinch, squeeze or pick at a pimple. This only causes it to become more red and inflamed, and will spread the bacteria and oils that caused it in the first place, to other parts of your face! It can also lead to scars. 2. Every 30 minutes, apply an ice pack to the pimple and hold it there for about 2 minutes. This will decrease the swelling and redness and help shrink the inflammation and pain that sometimes comes along with it. 3. If you're in need of a quick fix, a dab of toothpaste on the affected area right before bed can help soothe irritation and reduce redness. Pressing and holding a wet tea bag or a cotton ball with a dab of lemon juice against the blemish for five minutes can also reduce swelling and redness.

The quickest way I have found is to use a product with sulfur in it...although I do NOT recommend the Proactive system....you can buy the refining mask on eBay...it's a clay-like mask with a high concentration of sulfur in it. Overnight, literally, my pimples decreased in size and redness. In the 12 years I have dealt with acne, this by far has been one of the TOP products to use. I rarely used it as a mask, but as a zit creme...worked WELL.

I also have been exfoliating with a baking soda and water scrub twice a week. You mix equal parts of baking soda and water so you have a nice texture for a scrub and exfoliate away! It's safe and natural...but watch out for it does dry out your skin quick. Have a good moisturizer handy.

Good luck!

Putting toothpaste on over night has always worked for me! I know it sonds wierd but I swear it works! Also if you have redness and you don't have that kind of time... put some visine on a q-tip and put it on the pimple. The redness will disappear!!

long run...this worked for me. i had bad acne. use a foam regular dial soap. NO PERFUME IN IT. and get benzicling from the dr.

if you have a massive one or one you want to get rid of overnight. i found out that toothpaste really does the job. just put some on at night and scrub it off in morn when it is crusty. it will burn and have a tingly feeling.

go to a pharmacy and get soap called z bar.
It has something like zinc in it. It looks like the box is from the 40's or somenthing that you would normally overlook. IT is good stuff.

If you wash your face all the time and try to avoid ever touching your face unless you have washed your hands, then that would be a start
