Heres my logic...
1) If you do not believe and He is real then you have wasted all your life and the suffering will be eternal.
2) If you DO NOT BELIEVE and He doesnt exist... then you have wasted nothing, and story ends... no after life, no reincanation, just nothing
~~~~~ON THE OTHE HAND~~~~~
1) If you do BELIEVE and He does exist, then all the Kingdom of Heaven and all the promises you have ever heard; will be yours to gleen.
2) If you do believe and He doesnt Exist, then you have wasted nothing, you have treated people with respect and kindness, spent time in churches and worship services instead of bars and unsavory places. You havent been drinking, doing drugs or destroying your body, life, other peoples lives, etc... You have lived a rather happy, well endowed, content life thinking that the promise of SOMETHING is better than the ending of NOTHING...
logic none. Proof, when my son was a year old he was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder that the doctors thought for sure was cancer. (up to then it was a safe bet to call me a uber agnostic) But with nowhere else to turn i did something i never thought i would do..pray. Today he is a happy smart healthy nine year old. With no trace of cancer. Some might think this is moronic but god is the only way i can explain this less than desearving soul getting such a miracle.
God do exist, there are only two possible explanations as to how our existence came to be. Either we had a beginning or we did not have a beginning. The Bible says, "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth" (Genesis 1 :1). Most atheists maintain that there was no beginning. The idea is that matter has always existed in the form of either matter or energy; and all that has happened is that matter has been changed from form to form, but it has always been. The Humanist Manifesto says, "Matter is self-existing and not created," and that is a concise statement of the atheist's belief.
God exists, I know inside me and others around me. I went to church and they spoke the word of god to me and I believed. I still believe and always will believe. God is all around you, the air you breathe, the sun on your face and the wind in your hair. I don't need to have logical proof I just have to have faith
For me yes! For you, maybe not, unfortunately. For real, YES!! His Word and my relationship and Faith in Jesus is all the proof in the Universe, besides the Universe itself. that I need. Ya see, we christians cannot understand how anyone would even question His existence. Once Jesus enters your heart thru your asking, you'll never question His existence again!! God bless
To seek proof or logic that God exists is missing the whole point....coz you'll never find it. You need faith. And no, I can't explain that either. If you have faith, God exists. If you don't, he doesn't. Could it really be that simple? Yes.
I'm a pantheist, so I believe everything is "God". It's all one, big "it". Butterfly effect, chain reactions, etc., etc. Semantics. You can replace the word "God" with anything you want.
When it comes down to questions of existence, what proof or logic does anybody have that ANYTHING exists?
"Cogito, ergo sum" -- that's how I know at least something exists. And for anything to exist; that this is a something instead of a nothing, to me, is divine.
I see a lot of arguments on here about evolution vs. creationism. I've always considered both to be faith-based, since neither can be directly observed or experienced (well... creation can be), and both get their "proof" from books and/or research done by other people.
I don't have any proof or logic. It's called faith for a reason. I'm Wiccan, so it's not only believing in a God/Goddess, it's also worshipping the earth and believing in myself and the positive changes I can make in my life.
Well as a human, you can observe that houses or such, aren't created from nothing, we create them. So it seems logical to think that humans and the earth were also created from a creator, God.
