1. Would God be worthy of praise if He had not originally created this world and all its creatures perfectly?

2. Could a person find reason to praise the company that produced and sold him a car full of mechanical defects?

3. Belief in God is not blind ignorance, but does the Bible ask you to close your eyes to scientific facts?

We live in a time of disbelief in God as the creator of an originally perfect world. The triumph of scientific and rational thinking has resulted in the tendency to discard the whole concept of the existence of a supernatural God. The philosophy of evolution has had a free hand and little or no opposition.
" lift up your eyes on high and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number; he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth." Isaiah 40:26)
The Bible does ask us to look up, look down, look around, look anywhere, and you will see the evidence of God.
Pick up anything you wish in God's universe and you will find it wonderfully and meticulously designed. A bird's feather, beautifully symmetrical, composition of its tiny sheaves intricately woven together, air-tight, artistically coloured. well oiled regularly to remain supple and strong.
Everything was made for us. We are not blind.

Look up at God's great unmeasured universe, so vast, yet so minuscule that even with our mosy powerful telescope and microscopes we cannot fathom its heights and depths. Look and onserve our planet, revolving around the warm sun, absorbing light, heat and beneficial rays. Everything you see and not is governed by laws which operate silently, but faultlessly. It is a sign of crass ignorance to believe that this great, vast and intricate universe are crying out for a recognition of a cause, a wise, all-powerful Creator and Master designer?
The God who created the universe has made man for a purpose. We are not creatures of chance. We can only find fulfillment when we allow ourselves to fit into God's plans for us.
Faith begins with the realization that a supreme intelligence created the universe, for it is incontrovertible that where there is a plan there is intelligence, an orderly universe testifies to the truth of of the most majestic statements ever uttered -In the Beginning God!

Christians do not close their eyes to scientific facts.

Christians close their eyes to the origin of man as described by an evolutionary theory. Takes too much faith to believe in the evolutionary theory of man than to believe God. I close my eyes to assumptions of millions and billions of years. I close my eyes to calculating time past 5600 years of carbon dating. Uranium dating into iron just doesn't work for me. Too many assumptions. Too many theories. Too much guessing. Never have liked "what ifs." Here lately too many so-called scientists involved with evolution have created lies to prove their theories. I hate a liar.

The Perfect Creature - God created Adam and Eve to be perfect without flaw and no sickness - I mean perfect. First chance they got they disobeyed God, did it their way, and brought sin, ugliness, flaws, sickness, imperfections, pain, wickedness and every other evil mentionable.

Only 2 religions my friend - God or man. We either choose God and obey Him or choose man and obey him. I choose God.

I agree. God is the perfect creator and his creation was perfect...before man sinned. Then came death, which is what is in evidence today. Thousands of years later and God has kept his word. Death, lawlessness, famine and pestilence are prevalent. Man still rejects God, as we see here on this forum, so man will continue to pay the price. The good news is if God kept his word from way back he will again in the future.

By the way, what scientific facts? Those that are fabricated by scientist? No. Too much supposition needed. They are laughable at best.

1. Would God be worthy of praise if He had not originally created this world and all its creatures perfectly?

whats so "perfect" about it? there is drought, famine, disease, war... a "perfect world" would not have these things

2. Could a person find reason to praise the company that produced and sold him a car full of mechanical defects?

no.

3. Belief in God is not blind ignorance, but does the Bible ask you to close your eyes to scientific facts?

No, i dont suppose it does, however those who preach the bible ask their followers to do just that, or tell them outright lies to deny scientific evidence. and besides, there wasn't much "science" around when the bible was written

God also created Lucifer. Knowing that he would introduce sin into the universe and force God to create hell that he would then fill with humans.

Is Lucifer a perfect creation? If the answer is yes, then God intended for sin to enter the world, no matter how much Free Will he provides.

If the answer is no then God isn't perfect and makes mistakes.

Christian doctrine doesn't make sense.

1. He did create everything perfect. We chose to disobey.

2. Nope. But that's not a valid analogy for what God did.

3. While not a science textbook, the Bible is scientifically accurate where it does touch on the subject.

It's interesting to me that biblical Christianity is the only world-view that I have heard of that actually answers this question coherently (that is, if God is so good, why are there so many bad things in this world?) This is a century-old question, and a legitimate one. But its laughable when atheists use this question as a "gotch-ya" to Christians, like it's never been considered before. In short, God did create everything in a perfect state. But by giving humans free will, and by our predicted use of this free will to disobey, we lost innocence and came to know the difference between good and evil. Because God is perfectly holy, this separated us from Him. And because He is perfectly just and fair, this disobedience must be held to account, and therefore humans were cursed with death. This however was a blessing in disguise, because death was used as the mechanism by which humans can be reconciled to God and receive eternal life once again, through the death of Christ. The rest of creation suffered this curse as well, resulting in the suffering we must experience in this life, ultimately to death. But death is not the worst that could happen to somebody. Eternal separation from God is.

Worship is inherently demeaning to any intelligent being. It implies that favor is doled out based on fidelity and admiration, as opposed to fair compensation. It's a by-product of a slave-based civilization.

the place in the Bible does it say that He needs it ? He instructions it. yet He additionally instructions that we not homicide, and not thieve, and not lie. Does He desire those additionally ? perhaps you do not somewhat comprehend what faith is. God accomplishes His will with our faith......or without it. it somewhat is greater useful for us nevertheless if we obey God, by potential of believing Him, particularly than disobey by potential of not believing Him. the religion God is talking approximately in the Bible has not something to do with church attendance. It has not something to do anymore with ceremonies finished in church homes, like baptism, communion, marriage, funerals, or the different church purposes. It has to do with expertise the Bible and being obedient to the fact.
