My avatar represents well a former occupation and present avocation. I drew the pen and ink about a year after I began to play guitar.

The story behind my avatar is that I was playing around on the internet one day and I stumbled across this site where this picture was.

I thought it looked like me, and so did everyone else. So, I bought it and it hangs on my wall. But behind the possible resemblance is this...
She seems so calm and watchful. I have to really reign in to get there, so she reminds me. Especially here.

People say Atheists are unfriendly. But this is a happy little breakfast monkey who wants to give you an omlet! Plus, monkeys are tied to evolutionary theory...so it seemed fitting. Finally, it's drawn by someone in a band I like. Voila!
