Why-do people pressume,that a question is real?

sometimes-l take ages to think of a question that l would like to know the answer to,out of curiosity-nothing to do with MY LIFE- yet the answers still talk as if its me personely-

Because thats what girls do. They pitch theroyetical situations at guys to fish for answers for a quite real one.

Guys do it too, i sometimes ask some random questions of my friends to see how they react to it, as well as answer to see their readyness for that, and to see how far one way they are.
