when you ask questions to people who are not christian etc you take points off when i give my opinion, i was not abusive in anyway, infact i respect your religion and your views, why dont you accept mine? if i were abusive, fair enough, take points off, but just because you disagree with my opinion why strip points away, you asked for my honest views!

The thumbs up and down thing doesn't affect your score at all. You get points for answering a question and if someone picks your for best one. But the thumbs things does nothing.

We all have the right to ask a question, to answer any question and to vote on the ones we agree with and disagree with. I do agree that we shouldn't be rude. As a Catholic, if I ask a question directed to religious people, I usually vote for the Christian answers that I agree with who aren't rude. If I ask a question directed to non-believers I usually vote for the non-believer that wasn't that rude and who I understand where they are coming from. If I can't pick an answer from any of them, I will pick one that I do want to address or I let it go up for a majority vote.

Will tell you this if you talk so good about loving god, on and on than you have no point lost, no not me doing it .I watch on hear and read and see who gets tumbs up or down if don,t like you.Try say good things goes long ways. Its up to you deside lose points with disagreeing with christaions ,look out thumbs you out or flag you.But will say people has been very mean saying crazy things to all the christions that beleves what makes them happy so they do get tired of all this.So they flag people off stop it.

Well I never asked for your opinion. I read a question and read through the answers if an answer strikes me as cogent I give it thumbs up. If it strikes me as being irrelevant or irreverent or both I give it thumbs down.

And, this is not really the place for opinion. It is not a chat area, it is not discussion forum. It is SUPPOSE to be a place to find an answer to a question.

Sucks to be you.

But hey, if they're taking points away from YOU, then maybe they won't notice and punish the other non-Christian answers.

Think of it as...taking one for the team.

It happens to the best of us.
