I dont know about "god" but there is vast evidence of God's existence..

(1) - the argument from motion. If you see some dominoes in a long row falling down, you know someone pushed them, nothing moves itself. And neither does the whole universe. Think of the universe as an enormous chain of dominoes, all moving. Something outside the chain must have started the movement in the beginning. Otherwise it couldn't move, because nothing can move itself.

(2)- The very existence of things, not just their movement. You need a first cause of existence just as you need a first cause of motion, because nothing can make itself exist if it isn't already there. Nothing can cause itself. If there's no God who eternally exists, how can existence begin? If there's no God who has existence by his own nature and doesn't get it from any cause, how can the gift of existence be passed down the chain of creatures, who borrow it from each other?

(3)- Everything dies, or ceases to exist. Now if there were no God who never died, who never ceased to exist, then eventually everything would die and nothing could begin again. And then there would be nothing at all.
The second law of thermo-dynamics says all energy gets dissipated, wears down. Even the galaxies get cold, if there were no God the universe would have slowed to a stop by now.

(4)- The fourth one is an easy one. In the universe some things are better than others, right? So there must be a best, a standard of goodness to judge all the relative "betters". One thing is closer to it than another. And this standard has to be absolute goodness.
You may say that everything is relative. There's no absolute. To what? Only God Himself.

(5)- The argument for design. Design proves a designer. And nature is full of design. Therefore there must be a Designer behind it all.

Design necessarily implies a designer. Those who go to great lengths to prove "scientifically" that life can originate from non-life, even if ever successful, have unwittingly just proven that it takes a great deal of intelligent input to create circumstances such that it could occur. But of course, this has never been observed in nature nor in a laboratory (The Miller-Urey experiment has long been debunked as a credible explanation for the origin of life). The law of biogenesis, that life comes only from life, is irrefutable and is the basis of modern biology. So one might ask, "how then did life actually begin?" From Life, of course, the source of all life, the Living and Eternal God. The athiest then thinks, "now I've got him... so who who created God?" A moments consideration easily settles this. God is "eternal" in the sense that He is not subject to time. He created time. The word "eternal" is still an imperfect description of Him because the concept of time is inherent in its definition. In short, the universe must have a beginning, a "first cause" if you will. But God is not subject to this requirement by definition.

mathematical probabliity for a creator
nothing comes from nothing and if there were no sort of creator there would still be nothing
conscience testifies to the need for justice beyond this life
mystical experience leads one to experience something transcending the self and temporal/spacial experience
there is nothing needed that does not exist: onlythe actual as well as conceptual existence of the Eternal Infinite Ultimate can be the non contingent source and goal
the universe points to an intelligent design and Designer( even if the application of the design is imperfect due to the Fall of Lucifer and later man)

I believe that multiple Gods and Goddesses exist. Not one religion can be correct, it wouldn't make sense. Everybody can't be right. That's why I don't have a religion, it's silly to believe in just one God. I'm not criticizing anybody or their beliefs or religion but that's just the way I feel. As one of the people above me said, we're all here and living so there has to be something that created us. A higher power if you will. But to answer your original question, yes God does exist I just happen to believe there are more than one. Of course different people have different opinions this just happens to be one.

hard to prove his existence with something tangible. but then again, how do we know "thoughts" exist if we can't see them, touch them, smell them? because we all have them? then isn't it odd that throughout humanity we seem (in general) to have an inherent belief in a greater power (whatever that may be defined as)???

have you ever seen/heard/experienced something that made you do a double-take? or say to yourself: "no one will ever believe me!"

God and faith are like that. if you believe it, then you know He/it/she/they exist... but for those who do not feel it or reject it... then it doesn't.

but even most atheists will usually say that ehy believe in some form of "energy" or such... again the inherent belief in a greater force.

it's like asking if we have souls? no amount of science can explain what actually makes the heart pump (or the muscles push the heart to pump)? the brain? ha!!! we don't even know how half of it works. and our thoughts and memories? what are they made of? where are they stored?

ever seen those 3-D posters that you have to stare at a certain way? ever meet someone who no matter what just can't "see it"? how do you prove to them that the 3-D picture is there?

God and faith exist in the same way. again, if you believe it and are willing to open your mind to it, you'll think they exist. if you are convinced that there is no possible way, then they don't. but no, so far there is no physical proof.

Except that if you have the time, do some research in the image of the Virgin Mary of Guadalupe. the official website is in spanish but i am sure you can find many in english.

Even NASA has studied this image and has been unable to explain many of its attributes.

Yes God does exist.
1. Where did we come from if he doesn't. You have to admit it would be a big coincidence if he didn't.
2. Look at nature the birds the trees they had to be made stuff like that don't just happen.
3. Take the parts of a bicycle and lay them in the floor years later come back and I bet they will not be put together.
4. Evoloution? If humans came from monkeys why are they still monkeys. Did they not get the memo to evolve.

You exist

Have a kid. It was enough to make this long-time atheist start second guessing things.
Also, realize that the Christian god is not the only choice when it comes to accepting the possibility of some sort of higher power. Many of our founding fathers were deists. Not exactly a bad group to belong to.

There are no facts to prove the existence of any god.

God may exist but it's not something anyone can prove.

Yes, Faith proves it.

Sometimes I do wonder how God got here, when I ask people they say he was always here, but that just confuses me.
