where in L.A can i find a lake or something like that, that allow dogs??

Question

I have a Black Labrador. I know they are water dogs. I would love for her to swim and play in the water. The problem is that dogs are not allowed in the beach. (I live by Santa Monica City and the City of Venice) And I think it would be nice if I could take her somewhere not to far from home. I just don’t know anywhere around here. if anyone has a place that would be great.

Sorry, I can't think of a single place in Los Angeles or near it that you can allow your dog in the water.
