Because of a failed import, my Outlook (2003, XP) address book has thousands of empty, corrupted contacts. How do I delete all of them without having to go one-by-one?

The problem is that the address book in Outlook doesn't display the empty ones - it takes 10 seconds to load, but only shows the good ones.

When I use OWA, it shows 98,267 empty contacts (no, I'm not kidding).

Try this

1. Open Outlook
2. Go to Contacts
3. Press somewhere in the area of Contacts
4. Press Edit in the Top Menu
5. Then Press Select All
5. Press the Delete button in the Keyboard (It is under Insert)

If you are sure you want to delete all, click the first, then Shift+click the last, backspace or delete.

If you need help importing, send me a message. I just did it and have notes.
