ok, so theres this guy. i really like him, and he is nice. im not sure if he likes me back tho. see, the problem is, when none of his buddies are around, he is really sweet, but when he is with his friends, he is a total jerk. i have tried to get over him, but i cant. please help me.

Most guys are this way at first. Just take things as they come and when he is being a jerk to you in front of his friends turn in into a joke and "defend" yourself. Guys like when a girl knows how to handle herself around his friends. Don't get mad just play it cool like it doesn't bother you. The way I think to find out if a guy likes you is to give him space. Try not calling him for a few days and see if he calls you and what he says. Don't play hard to get though just be yourself and whatever you do DO NOT PRESSURE him or ask questions about how he feels. It's too soon. Eventually if you guys get more serious and him being a jerk around friends continues feel free to talk to him and ask why he is being this way and ask him to stop. Be patient and I believe good things will come out of this...

OK I'm speaking from experience OK
leave it alone any guy who treats you one way when the buddies are around isn't worth your time or affection for that matter. Hes showing you right now that he has very little to no respect for you. stay away from him as much as possible try to cut off all contact that makes it easier to get him out of your system. why pursue something that just end up getting you hurt. save yourself the head and heart ache.

He is trying to show his tough side. He wants to keep showing his friends that he is 100% man. Which I think is a bad thing, because he should show his real colors when he is around you even with his buddies.

Seems like the best thing to do is do your best to be around him when he's alone. Look for opportune times when his friends aren't just gonna pop up. This will give you a chance to get to know him better, and he will know you better. Then you can decide what to do from there.

In every person there are short comings things that we do not do as well as others, when in a relationship you need to decide if you can live with this persons short comings or quirks, if you can the relationship will be successful if not you will be headed for disaster

ok. his a jerk because if he really liked you then that wouldnt change around his. just start talking to one of his friends, and maybe he will see that he does like you and stop being a jerk!!

If you really care about him, you go up to him in front of his friends and confess. Or you can grab his arm and take him somewhere no one else is in and tell him. Say it seriously and he'll know you're not joking. If he loves you back he'll confess back. If he cares too much about his "friends" he's not right for you.

I think he likes you but is far to insecure to show it when his friends are around. They never change. He will never be nice to you and he will always put his friends first. Dont do it

It's not your problem that he can't think for himself. Just look for someone who's consistently nice. You'll get over this guy soon enough if you want to. Good night!

i know exactly how u feel im in the same situtation i just be like when ya boys not 'round u cool as hell and then he dont let me finish the rest because he's an older boy and dont want to embarrass himso try to embarrass him and see what happens
