Im talking about the Aim today horoscopes, some of my friedns and i read them each day and they fit PERFECTLY into our lives. An examples : i dont usally go out to watch movies, and i usally have saturday school. But just a few weeks ago, decided to skip my saturday school to watch a movie, and on the exact day, the horoscope for my birthdate told me its not wise to choose play over education and that i should adjust my time so i can attend both. Thi is not a simple consequence, it has happened over and over for the past few months. WTF?

Personally, I say no. You can find more credible alternate explanations for these things.

In your example, it suggested doing hard work over recreational activities. That's practical advice we can all agree with: if you do too much play and not enough work, you don't get things done. Now add to this the fact that Saturday is easily the most popular day for leisure activity, and it sounds like it would be relevant to a lot of people.

Here's an experiment to try:

Have a friend send you a different horoscope from the same source (newspaper, website, whatever) every day. But tell your friend to pick your sign's horoscope half of the time, and some other sign's horoscopes randomly the other half of the tim. Don't let your friend tell you which sign it is! But have him or her keep a record of which signs were chosen on which days.

At the end of each day, decide on a scale of 1 to 10 how accurate you thought the given was. At the end of the month, have your friend reveal which signs he chose for which day, and see if there is any strong correlation between your ratings and the horoscopes that secretly matched your sign. If the horoscopes have some validity, you should see much higher marks on the days your sign was chosen.

Well, the usual sun sign horoscopes divide the world's population up into just 12 groups. So however accurate they may be at times, they are necessarily very general.

If you want a real horoscope, you need to know not just your date of birth, but the time of day and the location. Then an experienced astrologer can create a natal chart for you, which is far more informative and personal. Still more detail is then gleaned when that natal chart is compared with the chart of the current sky, or of the sky at the time of some significant upcoming event, such as a marriage. It can also be compared to the natal chart of another person, such as your prospective spouse.

The basic idea is that the sky can function as a giant clock face, positioning you in space and time at your birth and at various times after that, in order to detect which influences are working on you. Those influences are not so much coming from the stars (although that may be part of it) as indicated by the stars.

NO.

Here's what you do - take the horoscope page out of the newspaper and cut out each individual horoscope prediction leaving off the 'sign'. Then throw them all in a hat and pick one at random.
I guarantee you will see something in it that somehow relates to your life.
You know why? Because they are all vague, simple statements that anyone can read anything into. It's the same thing 'psychics' do.

No they are not real. It is never wise to put play before study, or going out before paying bills etc.. It is a very broad statement and it applies to everyone.
