I am not a small person..but i do work out and try to keep toned..up till now my legs have been my best feature. duringt he last 2 weeks of school i havent been able to go and work out.now normally my legs tend to not have so much definition but they dont get huge.Since school ended I havent gotten back to the gym yet because my registration didn't pass through yet. Now I have adesk job from 9-5 so i sit alot. But i walk to and from the train which is about a 40 minute walkplusi have been eating less and healthier since school ended. it seems likei havent gained weight anywhere but my legs..and its freaking me out!

If you used to workout and have stopped for a few months the muscles in your body are not being used nearly as much as they where before, as a result the body will get rid of the extra muscle since it is not needed (muscle burns allot of calories and your body's ultimate goal is to survive, using as little energy as possible). Most likely the muscle in your calves have gotten "soft". If you start working out again your body will respond very quickly and your old legs will be back before you know it!

you have long muscle bellies in the lower leg so there is a lot of potential for growth

I have the same problem too. It's a genetic factor, so it's nothing serious.

if its only your calves that are huge its probably muscle, everybody's body is built differently
