AS a Christian getting a high education, I can take a bit of offense to this.
I also fail to see how you can make the connection between Christianity, the religion that has produced the most progress in the world, and the uneducated.
Unless you are just full of hate.

I'd like to say "no", but it's hard to say no when you look at the way most of them behave here. Especially on the evolution "questions".
Oh, and to those who criticize the abbreviation "Xtian" or "Xian": it was Christians who invented it. The "X" stands for the first letter in the Greek word for Christ, XÏιÏÏÎ¿Ï ("Christos"). Which I guess just further proves the original point.

Maybe so for "Xians," but I'm a Christian and a staunch believer in education.
Let me offer some of it to you:
Look up the fallacy of equivocation
Look up hasty generalization
Learn to hate less, love more and grow a little. Right now your atheism screams, "I have had some bad experiences with Christians, so I will now hate them all and paint with a brush the size of my grudge."
(I deduce this from your screen name.)

there are many very educated and accomplished Christians. Do you REALLY think that a Christian can not be good in school just because they might disagree with one point of Science?
That's a pretty odd assumption. Kind of narrow-minded

Not at all. There are a great many intelligent, well-educated Christians. Not all that many fundamentalists, I think, since that does require such a strain on one's logic and reasoning. But the more liberal Christians often make excellent scholars.
