I don't know how to heal it but if you go get a donut insert for your shoes it will help and take a anti- inflammatory it will help. Also stay off of it as much as you can. Hope it gets better soon.

there is a horse shoe shaped insole thingy which you can put in your shoe. Ultimately you must stay off it for a long while. Sometimes your shoe is the culprit. Also alergies make these spurs worse, because it increases inflamation. I think this in the AM thing probably points to something other than heal spur though mine only hurt after I walked a lot and was fine in the AM. I had the operation and no trouble since.

The only cure for a heel spur is to see a podiatrist. This problem will not go way without medical treatment. You can place an ice pack on the area for ten minutes.

I had really good results with my heel spurs and painful heel syndrome after consulting and treatment with an acupuncturist.

I had relief after the first visit and after the first couple weeks of treatment, I saw a marked improvement.
