If it causes you back pain then a breast reduction would greatly reduce that pain. No matter what size you are. The only issue would be that sometimes insurance companies have a minimum that needs to be taken out.

Cleo, you mean a reduction, augmentation is the other way :)

As for scars, mine are barely noticeable. You just got to know how to take care of the incisions properly. Mederma and Scarguard have reduced my scars so that you cannot tell they are there.

I think a C cup is a good, natural size for a woman; as long as they're not fake, its fine, but if you want to get a breast reduction, its a good thing for the future because of back pain.

Talk to your doctor. First, do you have bras that fit properly. Next, are your bra straps digging into your shoulders? Does your back hurt a lot? There may be good, medical reasons to get a reduction. Your health insurance may pay for it. If they make you feel self-conscious and you can afford it, you may want to consider it whether it's a medical necessity or not. But absent your needing to do it, or wanting to do it, no, 36D is not too big. It's the size you are.

I wear an F(it's natural). I love my breasts, but they are a source of back pain and I anticipate getting a reduction. But if you aren't having back pains then I simply recommend using a minimizer bra, it knocks a cup size off.

big breast (and breasts in general) are very sexy! you should be thankful for what you have because some people have to have their removed because of cancer.
that said, if your breasts are causing you pain (like in your back, neck or shoulders), you should get a reduction. otherwise, learn to love the body you were given.

Melissa, just because she might want breast augmentation doesn't mean shes 'spoiled.' Big breasts can cause a lot of problems, such as back pain & loss of self-confidence. I don't think a 36 D is huge, i mean there are SO many bigger sizes but if you think you would be happier with a size smalller go for it. I'm against plastic surgery but this is one time I would say its okay

Good luck

It depends on what the rest of you looks like, and the quality of them. If you are very tiny it might look odd and can lead to back problems. Ultimately the decision is up to you, it's your body, be careful what you do with it, but I can understand why you would want to do it, people don't understand how uncomfortable large breasts can be.
