I must have misunderstood. In the question, you said "straight guys" meaning "heterosexual". So, if a gay man asked me, which I am also a man, I would decline, because I am not gay...or "homosexual".

After looking at your avitar and seeing other people's answers, I have to say I am assuming you are female. If you are male, then I would have to give another type of answer.
If you know for sure he is gay, are you sure he is "asking you out"? He just might like hanging out with you.
If he is asking you out, ask him what his intentions are?
Maybe he is bi-curious and may like girls too.
Whatever you decide, don't compromise your principles for any guy. If he can't meet your relationship goals, except being "cute", then you should concentrate on another guy.
