A guy at work is starting up a new league this week to extend the remainder of the season. I am having trouble with a couple categories. Who would you take out of these groups of drivers. Please don't pick a driver just because you like him. This is for some good money. $25 per team. Should add up to quit a payout. Pts awarded are same as given in race. When drivers are substituted, the points go to car #. The categories I am asking for opinion on are as follows, and any reasons you may have to support your pick.
Group 2
#2 Ku. Busch
#07 Clint Bowyer
#5 Ky Busch
#26 J. McMurray
#8 D. Earnhardt Jr.
#01 M. Martin
#18 J.J. Yeley
#1 M. Truex Jr.
Group 4
#66 J. Green
#45 K. Petty
#14 S. Marlin
#25 C. Mears
#6 D. Ragan
#13 J. Nemechek
#88 R. Rudd
#9 K. Kahne
Group 5
#7 R. Gordon
#38 D. Gilliland
#70 J. Sauter
#22 D. Blaney
#10 S. Riggs
#15 P. Menard
#44 D. Jarrett
#83 B. Vickers

I would say Mark Martin and Kyle Busch and Jr. If I had to pick one I would deffinately go with Mark Martin. He is only racing part time and is a solid 15th in points. Kyle Busch is also strong in the COT program because all Hendrick Motorsports have had great success at all the COT events. Jr. is doing better since he has announced that he will be leaving DEI so last weeks finish of 6th or something at Charlotte proved that he is doing better and he was constantly up front yesterday.

Next I would pick Ricky Rudd and Casey Mears. Mears has the momentum going into Dover and he is backed by Hendrick Motorsports which has done great at the COT events and has won all 5 of them. Ricky Rudd is also a veteran and has had numerous starts at Dover and is going to due well since Robert Yates Racing has been making a substantal comeback this year. Most people would choose Kasey Kahne but he is 32nd in points and has had a horrible season and possibly experiencing the sophmore slump as some would call it but he will work himself out of it and start having some success again and David Ragan wouldnt be a bad pick but I think he has wrecked or been wrecked at almost every race this season so he is having some terrible luck but most of the time he is the innocent bistander.

My picks would be Johnny Sauter, Scott Riggs, and Brian Vickers. Vickers had the strongest finishing Toyota with 5th at Chartlotte and lead all those laps and had to pit and had his power steering going in an out during the entire race so he is deffinately talented and Team Red Bull has been working on their COT program alot and I think that will show during qualifying. Scott Riggs is with Evernham and they havent been doing so well but I think they will start to make a come back and they are qualifying on time to make the races so they are trying. Johnny Sauter has been running very well when he makes the races because he has a Hendrick powered Engine so I think that you could see him finish quite well if he makes the race. Others havent been doing so well and some cant even make the races. Robby wrecks people intentionally, Gilliland hasnt done anything since Daytona, Blaney is a veteran and has qualifyed decently, Menard isnt running well like other DEI teammates, and Dale Jarrett cant seem to make a race without using his championship provisionals. Hope this helps.

likes and dislikes aside you gotta go with Hendrick whenever possible haven't they won all but 4 races so far ?, so ky busch for group 2, and c mears for group 4, group 5 id just go to nascar .com and see who shows up with the highest points

and people this is about fantasy racing league, you have ignore people and personality this is about points, i.e. i know you love dale jr but you don't pick him for points sometimes you have to pick the guy you hate

If you pick a group that doesn't include J Gordon or J Johnson your barking up the wrong tree. I see no champ from 2 3 4 or 5.

somewhat human beings have faith the wheel is a technique or the different "magical" and makes the guy seating at the back of "invisible"... stay somewhat longer and you will spot an undesirable lot greater issues drivers do! take exhilaration on your stroll... :)
