Just because someone expresses their opinions about not believing in christianity it's "bashing"...but it's okay for christians to openly talk about what all is "wrong" in other religions because of course christianity is the only right religion and everyone has to go along with it? You're a bit of a hypocrite.

It cuts both ways in R&S Bob. Unfortunately here, you have extremism. People who are hell bent on speaking their mind to cause scenes. They are the ignorant, and it comes not only from non-Christians but Christians to other religions as well. There will never be a peace because people don't really want it. They love their battles, to get arguments going, whether they are right or wrong. That is life here in R&S.

Yes, it IS necessary, because the future of human civilization is at stake. If you knew a religious conspiracy was working to undermine your beloved secular democracy and replace it with a theocratic monarchy, wouldn't you oppose them? If you knew a bunch of religious wackos were conspiring to bring about a premature end to human civilization by starting World War III, wouldn't you oppose them? If you clearly understood there is really very little difference between Fascists and Christians, wouldn't you oppose them? Organized Christianity has a long and infamous history of working to suppress academic freedom and undermine human civilization. The fact that the very same Church which organized and funded all the crusades and all the inquisitions is still in existence and has grown to become the largest corporate empire in the world, fills me with horror and dread for the future of the human species. No insult is too rude for those superstitious collaborators who have exchanged their living humanity for imaginary immortality.
Edit: Don't forget, you're the one who brought up "hate." I merely replied to your taunt in kind. Bet you don't like it much. Neither did I. In an open uncensored forum, nasty questions recieve nasty answers.

I say what I disagree with in terms of the religion and if a christian takes that personally that is something I cannot control. I even talk this bluntly with my husband - a christian - and he respects that I have my opinion and I respect that he has his even if I don't agree with those finer points of his belief.
Debating means showing all sides of issues, not just the ones that you want to hear to make you happy.

For the most part what you are dealing with here are a bunch of kids with to much time on their hands and no adult supervision. This is like any other computer game to them only here they get to play with real people. Then there is another segment that are college age and just mouthing the rhetoric they hear from the human secularist Liberals of academia masquerading as Professors.
Usually I just consider the source and move on although sometimes my sarcasm gets the better of me.

Yeah, why should it matter what people believe in? I believe in God, and until the day i die that's how it's gonna be, but ur right though, everyone could ease off eachother a lil.
Arcangel, how the hell is this guy being a hypocrite?? he's kinda right, Christians take much more abuse that atheists do, cuz there seems to be more of them floating around in here.
