What is the best selling book of all time. Clue It's benn the top seller for about a century.

Atheists probably do read more. That would explain why they're a little more intelligent than some of those nutty Christians. Even if the Bible is the best selling book out, I don't think I've ever known anyone who has read the entire thing.

I dont think that is entirely an accurate statement. It could be true that athiests are open to more knowledge because they dont have religious beliefs that may oppose literature.
I think that the real answer is that those books actually appeal to both religous and non religious people. It can be said that to have a true understanding of your position means you need to understand the opposing position. I think many religous people are interested in why other people choose to be athiest or even agnostic.
Also it makes sense if you are dealing with a diverse population in a work setting that you have an open mind to what other people think. It allows better function as a team.

The books were not written for atheists but for anyone. I know many Christians who have read them. Generally atheists are better educated than fundamentalists and have read more but that is a general statement. There are a few educated fundies and a few ignorant atheists. You find them every now and then.
