how do u act with a new bloke who maybe trying to see how far he can push you?

This bloke i've been seeing i have known a long time, we get on great but recently when he's had a drink he's started to be a bit of an idiot and the next day we've spoke and it just seems like he's testing the waters to see how far he can push me!!! it sounds like mind games, how do i deal with this to make him see i'm not, without dumping him?

Just refuse to play his game. If he starts being a jerk on the phone, ask him to stop. If he doesn't...hang up. Some time when you can be serious with him, talk to him about it. Let him know it bothers you and ask why he's doing these things.

Let him know, in no uncertain terms, what you are willing to put up with and what you're not. And then stick to it!

First of all, confront him on these foolish mind games. Be direct and to the point. Men appreciate women who know what they want. Why should you be taken advantage of by some drunken "bloke" who is only testing you.

You can be direct and to the point without ruining a relationship. It it ruins the relationship, it wasn't worth having.

Cut through the chase and get to the point is what you need to tell him.

Tell him straight out that you don't like the ways he acts when he is drunk. That you will not talk to him for a week if you find he is drunk.

Do NOT let him get you to accept his bad habits. He wants someone who will put up with his bad behavior. Start refusing to put up with it now. It will be harder later on.
