I don't hate atheists. It takes a lot of conviction to go against the norm, and most of the atheists I've met are intelligent and compassionate people.

Sure, they don't believe what I believe. If we got down to very minute specifics, few people agree entirely on their beliefs. That's okay.

God is a big enough person to take some rejection now and again.

No, I don't hate them. Some of my best friends claim to be atheists. But I do wish they were not so adamant about materialism, because it makes it a little hard to communicate with them sometimes on the finer points of mystical experience. Those who will at least acknowledge that it is some unknown form of brain activity can be all right, but a strict materialist can be a pain in the buns.

As a Christian I do not hate the unbelievers, and here is why Christ teaches us that we are to love one another. So to hate someone that does not believe in Christ would be a bad example of what Christians are all about. I am not saying that I like everyone but I do try hard to love everyone as best I can. I work with a unbeliever and we a good friends I do not try and force feed him christian beliefs, I just try to be a example so that when the Lord starts to stir in him I will be there to help him with his journey with Christ

No, I don't hate them. I can understand their point of view although I don't agree.

What I don't like are the militant ones that constantly argue or make a pointless fuss over things like public christmas trees, historical landmarks with religious imagery, etc......but just as many religious people are guilty of that type of thinking, too.

no i do not hate them.
if i did, i couldnt call myself a Christian now could i?
infact, i love them so much that i feel for them, i pray for them, because not believing in God, having to rely totally on your emotions and feelings to get you through life, is a terrible way to live, i was there once. I want them to have what i have, know what i know, experienced what i have experienced.

God is real, Jesus is AMAZING! i want them to know the love of Christ. its the greatest thing in the world!

Collectively? No. I only hate individuals. Some of my enemies have been atheists, some of them were something else.

No, basically Atheist's are human beings like you and I. Our opinions are not the same, we differ on a variety of issues, dispite that I too, believe in our Father Almighty.
If we profess to love God, we have to love our fellowman. If we fail to love our brothers in humanity, then we also lack in our love for God.
" Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knowth God.
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. ' (1 John 4:7,8)
God commanded us to love one another.
" A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." (John 13:34,35)

It doesn't matter what they believe in, it's what you believe in that counts and what you do with your faith unto the Lord that makes you a disciple of His.
Actually Atheist's do believe in what they believe, they each have their own moral code, generally derrived from secular considerations rather than religious text.

No, I do not hate people just because they don't believe in God.
