my son wants to get this LEDs things for undercar,incar,wheel wells,and like taillights and all that stuff is all this stuff llegal thanks for the help

For the most part, it could be used while showing off the car in a parking lot, but not while driving on a public roadway. If he has lighting installed, he'll have to switch them off while he's driving.

It all depends on your area's laws. Check those first. Different states, different laws. Here in TN, it's legal to have LEDs and neons under your car. Some places consider it a "distraction" while driving and it may be grounds for getting a ticket, but it's more than likely legal.
Also, blue and red aren't always illegal. There are quite a few cars around here with blue neons underneath the car, and there haven't been any problems. (My friend has red, never got a ticket.) On other parts of the car, it's a possibility that they are illegal, but as far as I've seen, not underneath. But again, check your local laws...
My suggestion: Let him do it. Just have him check into the laws first, and make sure it's all okay. If it is, then, well, that's it.

Anything in and out of the car is no problem. It's under the car where there are some legal issues. Red or Blue under a car is a big NO. Any other color is a matter of state law. Just check your local state law on lighting. You'll find all your answers there. Good Luck!

The legality of LED installation is regulated by each state. Not sure where you live, but you can google your question and check the legality within your particular state.

depending what state your in But I know anything you can see outside your car glowing inside well driving on the road is illegal.. if the car is parked its fine driving is illegal... underglow as well.. I should know im a street racer. But I still do it. Hope that helps you though.. Be a good mom and let him do it! !!!!! :)
