I see what you are saying, that the soldiers that you specifically mentioned died to save their comrades. Of course, they did a great thing by doing such and did not die for nothing.
But I wonder what about someone who is driving down the highway and gets killed by an IED? What cause did this person die for?

ok...The Pats are 7-0, very probably 8-0. If the Pats play indy the way they have been taking part in different communities and vice versa with the Colts, they are going to be 9-0. only relish the season. additionally, this USC youngster, please close up. end it, please. this is college soccer. It has no longer something to do with the NFL. college communities that have the main dominate communities are in ordinary terms thay way because of the fact they have the main money and play 3 or 4 "solid" communities in a season of 11-12 video games. Beating an unranked DIV 2 group seventy one-14 (in ordinary terms a wide-unfold occasion) isn't dominance, its no longer worth even gazing. as a result making it stupid and lacking in and substance and which ability as a interest.

Semper fi Marine till death.
My heart goes out to the families of the soldiers who have lost their loved ones. But these men and women have died a hero's death. They died a honorable death and I know the parents do not see it that way. But they died unselfishly defending not only our freedom but the freedom of all nations. They do not die for themselves they died for their brothers and sisters by their side in the shield a soldier provides until he can no long protect them or when there is no longer a breath to breath. They do not join just to go to war and die they are doing their job. They lost their lives but they are among the hero's at Arlington Cemetery. They will be known forever for their bravery and honor. My father was in WWII, he was front line artilery and the one who made the coffins for his brothers in arms. I do not personally know the pain of this but I know the pain as discribed by my father, may he rest in peace. I have lost a brother in peace time on home soil and he told me of his honor to serve in the Military, rest in peace, I have a sister and her husband who were in Military Intellegence and brothers who were in the Marines, Army and Airforce, My sister-in-law was Navy and a Mother who was a military nurse during WWII, who I lost a couple of months ago. So I can understand the ties that bind the military families, not just their biological family, but their brothers and sisters who are by their side in harms way. God bless all of you and thank you for your sacrifice. My heart goes out to all the families that have lost their loved ones but I hope they will realize the honor of the their death.
Thank you and I hope others that read your blog will see what the military family is about and what they do so we can wake up and go to sleep without having to worry about terroristic attacks. And those who complain the loudest now would be complaining even louder if we did not fight back and were attacked again. How many Americans remember what they were doing on 9-11, I do, I was in my living room folding clothes and on the phone tring to get a hold of sisters who live and work near the Twin Towers. Only by fate their families were not in harms way that day. And do they realize if we did nothing we would have had more attacks on this soil we call home.
Again Semper fi(delis)-Always faithful

I agree but the soldiers love for their family and love for their country shouldn't be forgotten either. Sure, your brotherhood is deeper than most people could ever understand but the fact that you're willing to serve our nation shows us regular folks back home what true heroes each and every one of you truly are. I don't care if you don't feel like heroes but that's what you are. Anyways, yes they died for one another but...in the whole scheme of things they are our brothers too. They are our nations brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, fathers, mothers.
I don't know if I'm making sense but you asked my opinion so there it is
*Now when I say love of country...I'm not talking about politics...I'm talking about how incredibly proud we are to be Americans
