What's wrong is that you don't have enough of the pregnancy hormone to be detected in your urine to give a positive response. Human chorionic gonadotropin ( hCG), is detected in urine and blood pregnancy tests. I recommend either wait another week or two and take the test again or make an appointment with your OBGYN.

Do you have two or more of the following pregnancy symptoms. Symtoms of pregnancy: (not in any particular order)

missed cycle (some women continue to have spotting)
nausea (any time of day, not just morning sickness)
dizziness
fatigue
increased vaginal discharge (leukorrhea)
constant urination (especially getting up alot at night)
tender breasts
darkened aereolas
food cravings (food, & non-food items such as dirt or styro-foam)
food aversions
unability to lay on tummy due to soreness of the abdomen
cramping in the abdominal area
swelling (water retention)
heigtened sense of smell
linea negra (a line that appears down the middle of your abdomen from right beneath your breasts to your pelvis, it gets darker as the hormones increase in your body)

Hope this helps!

first we need to know how long youve missed your period. You might be testing too early. I dont know if want to have a baby or not. But the best time to test would be 2 weeks after you miss your period. The result woul be pretty much reliable by that time.

Also, some of the pregnancy symptoms may be like PMS. So it coud be that your period is just about to arrive.

If you are really eager to know if you are pregnant or not, you could go to a doctor, get a blood test, Its more reliable than those HPT's or if you would like to REALLY make sure, you could also get ultrasound. That way, you'll know if there is really something in your womb.

Are you wanting to be a mommy? I have been through the same thing. If you are wanting to become pregnant, your body cant adapt to what you think you may be. I wanted to be pregnant so bad and when I took the tests, they were negative but I had gained wieght missed my monthly bill and had every single symptom but when I had done a blood test to find out, it was negative as well. They said I had the egyptian flu, because I wanted to be a mummy, but to be honest, I didnt find it funny. My body took on the symptoms because I was afriad I was and was hoping so. If you are truly scared or worried you can go have blood drawn and have them do a test but also get a hold of a local plan parenthood and they will give you more information. Hope it helps!

Make sure you read all the instructions on the test. Try the E.P.T test. It's very easy to use. If the test says your positive go and see a Doctor at once, Do not wait. If money is a issue have who ever do the deed pay for the test. Sounds to me like your young and afraid. Do not be afraid. You are not alone. There are plenty of people out there who can help you. Good Luck!

not all test are 100% right. The test said i wasnt but I was. The only differents is that i was still having my period. I say you go to the doctors or try going to a planned parenthood and find out. You dont wanna find out to late. I thought the test was right when it said negative the first time. and then the second time it said postivie then i took it again a couple days later . and I was like whatever so i went to planned parenthood and i ended up being 3 months pregnant. try to find out as soon as possible. GOOD LUCK

Planned Parenthood is very good advice. A blood test will be the best way to determine if you are pregnant.

I've been told that you can only get a false postive on the pee tests...not false negatives. But am not 100% sure on this.

Either way, you need to be seen by a physican, because if you are NOT pregnant, it could be symptoms of something else that is serious.

You probably just missed your period because you're stressing about thinking you're pregnant. You could be exaggerating all these pregnancy symptoms because deep down you want to be pregnant & hope you are pregnant. Wait one more week, if you still haven't gotten your period, take another test. If it's negative ask a family friend to take you or go to your local health department & get tested & a gyno check up - it's free for most kids & it's confidential - take a cab if you have to. If your next test is positive, you're going to have to tell your parents sometime, so tell them now so you can get prenatal care.

it may be too early over the over-the-counter tests to register that you are or not pregnant. Usually have to wait at least 2 weeks AFTER you miss your period. If I were you, I'd still make an appointment to see a nurse or doctor to discuss your symptoms. Since you seem to be fearful of your parents, you must be under 18. It would be better for you to talk to your parents, even if they get mad. Pregnancy is definately not something you should keep to yourself.

Well your stomach getting firm would have nothing to do with it.

I would talk to your parents so you can get a blood test done. When did you take the pregnancy test...before or after your missed period. I would try a week or so after your period should have been here and test again. If its positive you need to talk to your parents. If its negative you need to talk to your parents and get into a dr to get blood test done. If you are pregnant you need to be seen by a dr to make sure you have a healthy pregnancy!!

Please just go talk to your parents so they can help you!!

It sometimes takes a while for the tests to be positive. My period was 3 weeks late before the positive showed up that I believed it. :) But I had a darling daughter in MArch, so I really was preggers. Good luck.
