so im in Maryland right now, there's a guy in LA i met him at a religious type camp. Hes 2yrs older then me, and i havent seen him since august, but we've talked first online then on the phone. about 3 months ago i lost my phone so we couldnt really talk. I know he likes me, and i think i do too. Hes a great guy, nice,fun,owns a business and a house, he has money...hes not good looking though...( i know i sound shallow but he's seriously not even decent, i need a goodlooking guy but w/e mabye he looks better now) OK so heres my problem.... he isnt answering my txts with anything more then a 'lol' everyoncein a while...i know he isnt seeing anyone but im kinda pissed, so should i just keep txting (we havent txted in like a week) or should i wait for him? I like talking to him....but i dunno if hes THE one...dont call me shallow just answer the question please thanks a bunch

1) You are 3000 miles away from each other.
2) You didn't even say you ever dated. It's just a crush.
3) Get over it...why is he committed to answering you anyway? Maybe he's sending you a message that he isn't interested. You say he is, but if he was, wouldn't he answer you? Perhaps you are scaring him away as forward and easy as you are being.

Hey mate, my name's Pia, iIm going to have to answer your question with a question, do you think he's tried to insinuate anything subtly, ie. there's something that's not right in the relationship? Have you asked him if he may be going thru hardship? Just a bit of advice (and let as many people as you can know this) if there is a problem in the first month, when/if you break up it will be for the same reason/s you had problems to begin with. And anyway a girl always knows if he's 'The One', even if your blinded by love.

i would be mad to but my thought is to move on right off the bat cause for one he lives miles and miles away and that's already going to be a problem in the relationship especially when you guys first start dating. for two he has no reason not to text you back unless he is talking to someone else or he realizes that this isn't going to work because of the living distance. if you really want to see whats up why don't you call him instead of texing him and see where you can stand cause there is no point in wasting your time on something that will never be.

You're not shallow, just looking for love like everyone else is. The problem with long distance relationships is that they tend to fade over time. When you're out of sight, you're out of mind.
I would move on unless he shows he wants to seriously pursue a relationship.
