They have all started to overlap due to borrowing beliefs. It's like a religion buffet - each person picks and chooses what they want.

Both contemporary and old-fashioned. Of course, there is more to religion than mythology. There is ritual and a sense of community, music and art and lots of things which are of value to civilization. It's not all dogma and moral chastisement.

Mythology is only that which isnt practiced or isnt believed to be true. With mythology, youre not dealing with things people actually believe in and practice, youre dealing with things people used to believe.
Religion is a belief in one god or many that people DO practice and worship.

Christianity is a relationship with God. The people who do not have this relationship cannot understand it.
