I'm inviting him to be my date for a wedding on Saturday. How do I tell him to dress nicely? I mean, I am sure he would know to, anyway . . . but still . . . ? My Spanish sucks.

Skirt to the knees (Specifically just below the knees or lower) and nothing low cut. No sleeveless dress. I should also note that UNmarried Orthodox Jewish women do not cover their hair. You do not have to wear a hat.

Usually everybody knows how to dress for a wedding, but you can say:
El sábado me invitaron a una boda y me gustaría mucho que me acompañaras. El evento es formal, te gustaría ir?
