God will give all a free gift who ask. We can not do anything to earn this gift. Works are just evidence of faith, we are not saved by them. Other religions, besides Christianity, believe you can earn you way to heaven. Whats stopping you from the free gift of God. Believe and repent today. You may not have tomorrow.

AMEN!
I agree 100%.
Religion can be defined as man's attempt to find God
Relationship- God seeking man through His Son.
If people would get rid of the idea that you have to be religious and just acknowledge their need for a Savior- then they would see what an awesome one on one relationship they could have with the living God.

So when G-d delivered the Jews from slavery in Egypt, parted the Red Sea, appeared at Mt. Sinai and gave the Hebrews purpose, identity and destiny with the HOLY covenant of the Torah, raining manna from heaven for 40 years, bringing forth water from the rock, and infinite other acts of miraclous mercy and provision, would you say that was more man doing something for G-d or vice versa?

Well I say it is both ways-- we who are saved should be glorifying God in ALL we do, so therefore when we share His word ( as God tells us to do!) we are also glorifying Him, so we are doing both.
You know those bumper stickers that say "God Bless America?" I like to say "America Bless God!"
We should be living for Him and obeying Him-- living our lives according to His will and sharing his truth with others....being fishers of men, as Jesus says. God SAVES US! The most important thing EVER! So Amen!

Yeppers. That's what Christianity is all about. Jesus came down to be the ultimate sacrifice, and now He is our role model. So now we serve others.

Exactly!!

And we are so thankful for our salvation that we want to do good even though we do get our salvation by deeds. Deeds are required as a part of accepting God, but it is never our goodness that saves us. : )
