i've decide my religion from here on out is Heresy...i believe in God but i believe he's out to get me...what kinda freak watches you 24/7 anyway?...hes like Santa....he sees you when your sleeping, he knows when your awake, he knows if you've been bad or good so be good or he'll make you rot as a tortured soul in hell for all eternity....but he loves you...your thoughts, please.

nomadkate has it exactly right with the maltheism thing. i dont believe god is an entirely good or divine being. i think he isnt really worried about what goes on down here or he just doesnt have any control over it. the "watching us 24/7" thing was a joke, but if he was watching us, why would he allow the things that are going on now? if he cant stand sin and wants it to far away from him, wouldnt that mean we're in hell now? after all, the bible says we are all born into sin.

Ha. Interesting position. I assume you believe in the opposite to God i.e. Satan. So you're teaming up with that dude. Right? If you just believe in God, but not Satan. I'd be a little bit more worried. Being a mere mortal and all.

oh, and you're misconceptional about Hell and the watching thing. it's not like He has urges, so why does it matter? He's looking out for you. Helll exists because God can't have sin in His presense and where His presence does not reside, there is madness. and ceasing to exist is not an option because God made us beings, just like Him, and beings can't end
