I just went to the (board-certified) derm today, and she didn't feel as though I needed a medium-depth chemical peel just yet (not that I agree :) She said that I should try the Renova (generic retin-a) 'instead of going thru that whole process...' Please feel free to let me know how you liked (or disliked) Renova and how long it took to lessen hyperpigmentation. Thanks!

Retin A worked for me!
It can take up to six weeks to work completely though.
But I think it's worth the wait.

So since it's basically the same thing, it'll probably work the same. [:
