It looks like a painting as the figures are raised, but I understand there is a way to prints like this. I looked it up on the internet and found one difference. The artist na WHITE appears in the lower R/H corner while the one on the internet had TW on the left hand side. Any ideas on what I have. Go to http://www.flickr.com/photos/michael_js/ to see a picture of it. Thanks, Mike

People ask hundreds of times if some painting they've found or bought somewhere is worth money. In 99.5% of the cases they are asking about some 'tourist' type Mal-Mart decoration painting done by some underpaid artists in Mexico or Europe.

However, in your case Todd White is an established artist with a following. His whimiscal, neo-realistic paintings appeal to the modern figurative crowd of buyers.

If it's an original painting it's worth some money. But the image you've provided us isn't that great and it looks like it is encased in glass because of the glair. Paintings usually aren't encased in glass.

So I'm thinking it is a print. White has sold a number of his more popular works in limited edition prints. If it is a signed, numbered limited edition print by Todd White it's still worth some money...but not nearly as much as an original work of art.

Here is a web site that handles some of his limited edition prints. You might want to contact them yourself directly and enquire about the work you have.
