Your mother knows it's not yours. She just choses to pick on you.

Ignore your mother on that particular point. By getting defensive, you encourage her to continue to blame you.

Be confident. Tell her "I know the truth, and God knows the truth. You do't have to believe me, but that's the truth"

She is probably blaming you because you have already given her problems in the past. The only thing you can do is give her time and reason to see that you are not what she thinks you are. Sometimes it can be a personality conflict between the two of you rather than anything you've actually done. There's not much you can do for that besides be nice when you're around her and find things to keep you out of each others space.

So...how does your mom make the leap from your sister to you? She clearly is in denial. Tell her that your willing to take a random drug screen anytime that your sister/siblings go along. Alcohol stays in the system a short time compared to other drugs. However, vodka is not a lite beer. Chances are your sister has a serious problem and may be doing other drugs that have a longer shelf life in the blood stream.

When I was younger I used to lie a lot. At a certain age I decided to start telling the truth because (I was not raised in a church) I felt it would have some effect on my place in Heaven. Anyway, I started telling the truth 95% of the time and dangit, I was always accused of lying. It made no difference, crazy stuff...my decision was to stick it out because I knew that I had made my bed and that God knew I was telling the truth. It took a while but eventually, I was exonerated. You know you're telling the truth, walk in that knowledge, it will get better.

why would she be blaming YOU if it's under your sisters bed? Not like you couldn't have put it there, let's say if you and your sister were fighting and you wanted her to get in trouble? But if you didn't do that, talk to your sister. what the heck is she doing with a bottle of vodka under her bed? If it's truly hers, I'm surprised she didn't hide it better.

Point out to her that it's under your SISTER's bed, not yours. Then, if she still doesn't believe you, set up a family meeting and have your sister tell her side of the story, you tell your side of the story, and your mom might lighten up. There's no reason for you to be accused of something you're not doing. Or, if it was your sister, next time she drinks, take a picture of her to show your mom.

Good Luck! ;)

Can you speak with your sister about this matter? Maybe you have broke your mother's trust before and now she can't trust you at all. Trust has to be earned. At this point, I would suggest a sitdown with your mother, your sister and yourself to get to the truth of the matter. By the way, who bought the bottle?

u need to show your moms first that u can be trusted, u might have done things in the past for her not to believe you. Don't give in and take the blame for things you did not do, make sure of that!!!
