The only car that got airborne was Gordon, but he never flipped.

Nope, no cars flipped last weekend during the Coke Cola 600, just the Jeff Gordon wrecked, he just came off the ground for a sec. but he never went upside down. Of course I wouldn't care if he did go upside down. LOL. Go #31 Jeff Burton!

I don't believe there was a car on it's hood, I'm sure there would have been more talk about it. You may be thinking of Jeff Gordon who did get hit pretty hard and got an excellent view of the track. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't recall a car being on it's hood.

never happened Gordon got crashed and hit the wall and got hit by another car at the same time sending almost all of the car airborn. Didn't flip though because of the flaps on the hood.

The nearest I saw to a car on it's hood was when Gordon's car had all 4 tires off the ground.

i cant remember if it was the 600 or the week before but dale Jr hit somebody from behind and the car in front went on Jr hood for a few seconds maybe that was it

Not to my knowledge there wasn't. Jeff Gordon was in the air but not really close to flipping.

i don't think any cars flipped, but jeff gordon was air born for a second.
