for about the first 2 weeks of dieting the majority of weight lost on the scale will be water. on average it takes a good 2-3 weeks on a balanced diet before measurable fat loss occurs

Eat only when hungry and that too not more than thrice a day. No solid/liquids in between other than water. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate body sytem to generate signals when one is hungry/full.

Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

By following the above procedure u will achieve results u have never dreamt ever.

I'm currently changing my diet for almost the same reason. I'm vacationing in Miami next week and I'm really wanting to look a little more decent in my bathing suit. I googled 4-day diet and came upon a pretty good site with a 4-day diet plan with meals and everything. In one day so far I've lost 1.5 pounds. Its basically a low calorie diet. I've given up most sweets, no sodas and drink water. I don't drink water at all, but its growing on me. Try a low calorie diet, but don't do it too long. It gets rid of muscle and fat alltogether and its not really healthy for you in the longrun. Good luck.

You're right. Its crazy. You can't shed a noticeable amount of fat in 3 days.

If you start working out now, though, in 3 months you'll be glad you did....
